First half of my session at Pevensey was cracking. Fully powered on my 5.7 and jump mahoosive floaty jumps. Really really fun - easy flat water and then the occasional monster ramp. Headed upwind, headed downwind and then the wind switched off and the full Pevensey conveyorbelt got me. I came in where all those with a moderate walk of shame were starting out, but I foolishly loosened my outhaul thinking it would give me enough to sail back - cocky git that I am. No chance. In the end there wasn't even enough to waterstart and I had to wobble my way back to a bit of beach that I've never seen close up before. So a good sail and a bad sail. Nice to stand on the beach and chat to everyone, but Pevensey really is losing its appeal to me.
